I treat adults (18+) with mental health disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, Attention-Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I specialize in addiction treatment and I also treat adults (18+) with substance use disorders and behavioral addictions.
I completed my adult psychiatry residency training at the Harvard South Shore Program and my addiction psychiatry fellowship training at Mass General Brigham [Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), McLean Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital] through Harvard Medical School.
I am licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I offer in-person visits at my Boston MA and Hooksett NH offices, as well as virtual (video/audio) sessions via a secure video platform. Please note that, due to licensing laws, patients must be physically located in Massachusetts or New Hampshire during our tele-health sessions.
I am a staff psychiatrist at MGH’s adult outpatient mental health and addiction treatment program, the West End Clinic, and an Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Moreover, I am the Medical Director at Bright View Massachusetts (a community based adult outpatient mental health and addiction treatment center).
I believe in individualizing treatment based on each person's needs. I offer medication management visits, complemented with supportive psychotherapy and elements of Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and psychodymanic psychotherapy. I also offer psychotherapy visits and coaching without medication management, if someone is not in need of medications.
